María Andrea Trujillo Dávila
Maria Andrea Trujillo Davila is a full professor at CESA Business School, recognized as a senior researcher by Colombia’s Ministry of Sciences, and a Doctor of Administration from Los Andes University with a degree in sanitary engineering from Antioquia University.
Founder and co-director of CESA’s Center for Corporate Governance Studies (CEGC) as well as the Women on Boards of Directors Leadership Initiative, founding member of the Colombian Institute for Corporate Governance (ICGC), consultant and advisor in the implementation of good governance practices, and member of the OECD, IFC and World Bank’s Latin American Network for Academic Research on Corporate Governance.
Maria Andrea has experience in teaching and research, in finance and corporate governance, in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at universities in Colombia and abroad.
The research projects have been supported by the World Bank Group through the IFC, the Swiss Embassy in Colombia, the Colombian Presidency, the National Education Ministry, the Colombian Stock Exchange, the Superintendency of Companies, the Private Competitiveness Council, Confecamaras and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, amongst others.
Has published several research and textbooks, and more than forty papers in indexed scientific journals, as well as case studies. Her research has been presented at more than 30 international conferences worldwide.
Alexander Guzmán Vásquez
Alexander Guzman Vasquez is a full professor at CESA Business School, recognized as a senior researcher by the Ministry of Sciences, with a degree in business administration from Colombia’s Externado University and a doctorate in administration from Los Andes University
He is founder and co-director of CESA’s Center for Corporate Governance Studies, as well as of the Women on Boards of Directors Leadership Initiative, founding member of the Colombian Institute for Corporate Governance (ICGC), consultant and advisor in the implementation of good governance practices and member of the OECD, IFC and World Bank’s Latin American Network for Academic Research on Corporate Governance.
He has been a professor of corporate finance, capital markets and corporate governance, at postgraduate and undergraduate level, and has developed internships and research activities in different national universities, as well as abroad.
