This is achieved through academia’s substantive functions, namely research, teaching and outreach. The CEGC’s research agenda allows us not only to monitor discussions on sustainability governance on the international stage, but carry out research on the reality in Colombia and Latin America in order to contribute to the advancement of the region’s practices. As a result, we can feed the discussions in our institution’s classrooms, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Our outreach allows us to disseminate the knowledge we generate, and also directly influence good governance practices in Colombian organizations, through consulting exercises and technical support.
